Hardt Entertainment

Professional Disc Jockey and Karaoke Services

It's Always A Party with Hardt Entertainment

Looking for a quality karaoke show?  Here we are!  Think ahead and book now!  We are professionals.  We list no duplicates in the song books.  Each time new songs are added, Susan picks the best of each one to go in the books.  We don't use cheap copies or hard drives with garbled lyrics, and only play original disks.  Your karaoke customers will appreciate the difference!  Unlike bands that do 'karaoke', we do not take breaks during shows.  You'll have more happy customers, a lot more songs to choose from, more value for your money, and the dependability of Hardt Entertainment.

Anyone from the Grand Island area interested in learning the ropes of being a karaoke host, email me!  sing247@frontiernet.net Hardt Entertainment is expanding!  Must be able to work Saturday nights!  I am often doing weddings or special events on Saturday nights, and there is a need for a karaoke host.  Must be 21, pass a background and drug screenings, have a sense of humor, a gift for music, and be honest and reliable.  I will not allow a show host to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, period.  Fail that and I'll do my Donald Trump impersonation.  'Nuff said.

Karaoke Library One:
Over 7400 DIFFERENT Songs
with DJ Susan.   Most are of the Chartbuster  Karaoke brand.  I add the latest hits as soon as they come from the karaoke manufacturers.  Contracts for regularly scheduled weeknight gigs will get you a discount!  Light show optional.  These song books are so large that we've  split them in half, most will have the songs listed by Artist and there's one Large Print book for the visually impaired.

Karaoke Library Two:
4630+ Different Songs with a well-rounded selection of classics, modern rock, pop, blues and country hits.   Looking for weekly and scheduled gigs.

Karaoke Set 3:
Perfect for birthday parties and small gatherings.   Small portable karaoke machine can fit anywhere, and can stand alone or hook up to most stereos and sound systems for more power.  Book your private parties, reunions, bachelorette parties & school events now!  Here's an affordable alternative for that office party!  57 disks in this set and the new song books are getting printed now.

You get what you pay for when it comes to karaoke.  Quality karaoke disks cost up to $40 dollars apiece.   I take great pride in the quality of my equipment and in running tasteful shows.  Occasionally songs are on the raunchy side, but are played only with the permission of the bar owner or manager.   I do not sing too much, nor do I allow my show hosts to dominate a show.  Ideally the host gets to sing the opening song, and the customers will take it from there.  We will sing in to fill in a gap, do a request, or do an upbeat song if the show starts to drag a bit.  I prefer to keep the energy flowing! At my shows, I'm lucky to get in four songs a night; often only the opening song.  We are capable of singing a lot more than we get to.  We won't play favorites and will keep the song rotations fair.  Light shows will vary according to your establishment and your wishes, anything from full lights and a fog machine to a simple mirror ball.  People love dancing to karaoke!  The more room there is to dance, the better the party!

Song rotations work as follows:  Each time a person comes up to sing, they bring one request slip for their next song.  If they sing as a duet or group, it counts as one turn for each singer.  This keeps the rotation fair and no one gets favored.  No amount of bribery will move you up to sing sooner.  New singers, that have not sang at all during the night, get placed on top of the rotation.  I cannot guarantee that you'll get to sing at all if you arrive late.

As I told you the night of our banquet, I sing karaoke all over the country. Your operation was one of the best I have had the pleasure to sing with. Great selections and equipment, and it was a pleasure speaking with you as well. Good luck, and let me know when you are in the area again. (Fairbury)

Of interest to all karaoke enthusiasts and nightclub owners:  Authorities can and will press charges on bar owners who hire a KJ who uses bootleg karaoke music.  According to the KAPA (Karaoke Anti-Piracy Agency) you may even loose your liquor license.  Illegal KJ's often undercut the prices of the legitimate KJ's, making it more tempting to hire them. The disk prices go up considerably as a result of the piracy, forcing the legal KJ's to raise prices in order to make ends meet.  It's your call as to whether it's worth the risk.  Make certain that your karaoke host uses only Original karaoke disks with screen printing instead of paper labels. Look for cdr's, an obvious sign of piracy.  If the karaoke is on a computer or CAVS machine, be aware that NOT every karaoke manufacturer has given permission for their music to be copied or reformated in any way, shape or form.  It is a federal offense for a karaoke host to use anything but original disks or licensed copies.  Please do us all a favor and report illegally operated karaoke shows to the state police!  You'll earn your gold stars in Heaven!
